Winners in state award Woods Bagot worked with international pedagogy specialist Dr Kenn Fisher to design the Australian Science and Maths School which is widely considered a world benchmark for school teaching and learning environments. Under the leadership of Principal Jim Davies (left) the ASMS has been recognized by the SA Great Awards for its innovative curriculum in science and maths, by offering new areas of study such as nanotechnology and laser science. |

Light, bright and breezy: Special Needs School, Abu Dhabi A move away from traditional institutional spaces was a high priority for the Woods Bagot team when designing this new Special Needs School located in the Middle East. The school provides an environment which supports a creative and interactive pedagogy, it is also an environmentally sustainable facility with natural light and breezeway gardens and is designed for modular construction.
